Device-local data and server requests
Favorites, recent conversions, and theme preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage and are not synchronized between devices. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes information needed to deliver and secure the site, which can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, date and time, referring page, and diagnostic logs. Currency selections and values may be processed by our server and our reference-rate provider to return current or historical rates.
Google advertising and cookies
When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, measure, limit, and report ads. Google and its advertising partners may use advertising cookies to show ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to Convertor4U or other websites. This can include personalized advertising where the visitor’s consent and applicable law allow it, as well as non-personalized or limited ads.

Consent choices
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Convertor4U uses a Google-certified consent management platform when Google advertising is active. The consent message explains the purposes and vendors involved and lets eligible visitors accept, reject, or manage choices before personalized advertising is used. A privacy-choices link supplied by the consent system allows those choices to be reviewed later.
You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some participating third-party vendors through YourAdChoices. Browser settings can block or delete cookies and local storage, although doing so may reset preferences or affect some features.
Correction reports
If you submit the corrections and contact form, we store the name you choose to provide, your email address, the reported page, subject, and message so the editorial team can investigate and respond. Do not include sensitive personal information. Reports can be marked resolved by an administrator.
Retention, disclosure, and updates
We retain contact reports and essential service logs only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal, and operational purposes. Information may be processed by hosting, database, currency-data, security, consent, and advertising providers acting for their stated purposes. We do not sell the contact information submitted through the corrections form. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.
